Role of Barcode Scanners and Thermal Receipt Printers in a POS System
Nowadays, point-of-sale systems have become an integral part in retail stores. The sole purpose of POS system is to make the process of sale and purchase easy and organised. The initial cost of thermal receipt printers is higher than that of inkjet printers, but in long-term it comes out be a good investment decision. Thermal receipt printers are beneficial for retail stores that need faster operation. They are not suitable for heat-intensive environments.
